《十年一刻，傳藝善美》為宜蘭傳藝園區十週年品牌專書，由雙好 2byWu&Chen 擔任整體編輯設計與出版統籌。專案以「Living Traditions」作為企劃與設計核心，重新梳理全聯善美的文化藝術基金會經營園區十年間累積的文化內容、人物故事與地方實踐，嘗試回應傳統藝術如何持續存在於當代生活之中。

本次專書不僅作為十週年紀錄出版，更希望透過編輯與設計，重新建立大眾對傳藝園區的閱讀方式。雙好從「人」、「場域」與「生活感」三個方向出發，整合經營者訪談、工藝師故事、戲曲文化、園區建築與地方風景等內容，透過影像與文字交錯的編排節奏，讓閱讀者能從不同角度感受傳藝園區作為文化聚落的日常樣貌。

在視覺設計上，整體書籍以低彩度與留白作為基礎，建立接近工藝出版與地方文獻的閱讀氣質。封面延續園區內部提出的「十年有成」概念，並整合整體裝幀與視覺語言，透過布紋封面、米白紙色與緩慢的版面節奏，呈現傳統文化長時間累積的溫度與質地。內頁則大量運用跨頁影像與呼吸感留白，使人物、建築、戲曲與工藝場景之間形成更完整的閱讀氛圍。

在編輯與製作過程中，雙好亦同步負責大量歷史資料與影像整合，重新校整不同年代的攝影素材與文字內容，並統籌紙材、裝訂與印刷細節，最終完成一本兼具文化敘事、出版保存性與閱讀手感的十週年典藏專書。

《十年一刻，傳藝善美》不只是一本週年紀錄，更是一場關於「文化如何持續存在於生活裡」的設計實踐。透過編輯、影像與出版設計，讓傳藝不只是被保存的傳統，而是一種仍持續被感受、被使用、被重新理解的當代文化風景。

《A Decade of Living Traditions》 is the 10th anniversary publication for the National Center for Traditional Arts in Yilan, commissioned by the PX Mart Cultural and Arts Foundation and editorially designed and published by 2byWu&Chen. Centered around the concept of “Living Traditions,” the project reexamines a decade of cultural practices, personal narratives, and local collaborations cultivated through the foundation’s long-term stewardship of the park, while reflecting on how traditional arts continue to exist within contemporary everyday life.

Rather than functioning solely as a commemorative publication, the book was conceived as an editorial project that redefines how audiences read and experience the cultural identity of the park. Approaching the publication through the perspectives of people, place, and everyday life, 2byWu&Chen integrated interviews with operators and artisans, traditional opera culture, architectural landscapes, and local scenery into a layered visual narrative. Through the interplay of photography, typography, and pacing, the publication presents the park not merely as a tourist destination, but as a living cultural community shaped by daily practices and human connections.

Visually, the book adopts a restrained palette and generous white space to establish a reading atmosphere reminiscent of craft publications and regional archives. The cover design extends the internally developed concept of “Ten Years of Achievement,” integrating the publication’s binding and visual language through textured cloth materials, warm off-white paper tones, and a slow editorial rhythm that conveys the accumulated warmth and temporality of traditional culture. Throughout the interior, expansive full-bleed imagery and spacious layouts create a breathing visual cadence, allowing portraits, architecture, opera, and craft scenes to coexist within a cohesive reading experience.

Beyond editorial and visual direction, 2byWu&Chen also oversaw the integration of extensive archival materials and historical photography, rebalancing imagery and textual content sourced from different periods while coordinating paper selection, binding methods, color proofing, and print production. The result is a collectible anniversary volume that balances cultural documentation, material tactility, and long-form reading experience.

More than a commemorative book, 《A Decade of Living Traditions》 represents a design practice exploring how culture continues to inhabit everyday life. Through editorial strategy, visual storytelling, and publication design, the project repositions tradition not as a preserved artifact of the past, but as an evolving cultural landscape that remains visible, lived, and continually reinterpreted in the present.
