Beatmatching is a special project personally curated by Jesse Chen, the founder of 潮電Bar&RecordStore. In this interview series, Jesse engages in conversations with DJs, producers, and label owners from around the world, exploring various perspectives and creative expressions in music production. Through the lens of DJ beatmatching, the project offers insights into the artists' creative process, not just as a technical sharing, but as a journey into the philosophy of music and their creative inspirations. Through the Beatmatching interviews, we hope to provide a bilingual (Chinese and English) window into how music creators find rhythm resonance within different sound elements and their creative processes.
