Hi Tech Criminal - Duster EP

1994年英國製作人 Toby Warren 化名 Hi Tech Criminal，透過 Volume and Tension 廠牌發行兩張創作，《Duster EP》是他以「Hi Tech Criminal」為名的唯二發行，而這兩張發行隨著時間推進，也成為二手唱片藏家市場中高價難尋的收藏碟。近年由 Klasse Wrecks 策劃的經典重發，不僅完整收錄原始曲目，更加收一首從未公開過〈Duster〉混音，讓經典作以當代形式重回舞池。全輯四首作品創作於電子舞曲創意與原創性高度活躍的90年代初期，音色獨特、難被單一分類：有飽滿彈跳的 House 節奏、前衛的 Progressive 思維，與早年推進力十足的 Techno 音色，都讓《Duster EP》不僅是張電子舞曲史上定位鮮明的再版，更是DJ與藏家必備收藏碟。

In 1994, UK producer Toby Warren released two records under the alias Hi Tech Criminal on the Volume and Tension label. Duster EP is one of only two releases under this moniker, both of which have since become highly sought-after and expensive rarities in the second-hand vinyl market. The recent reissue curated by Klasse Wrecks not only restores the original tracks but also includes a previously unreleased mix of the title track, bringing the record back to the dancefloor in a contemporary context. Created during the early 1990s when creativity and originality in electronic dance music were at a peak, the four tracks resist easy categorization, blending bouncy house rhythms, progressive ideas, and driving early techno textures. Duster EP stands not only as a historically significant reissue, but also as an essential record for DJs and collectors.
