British electronic music producer Kevin Richard Martin (KRM), known as The Bug, collaborates for the first time with Kenyan sound artist Joseph Kamaru, aka KMRU, to deliver Disconnect—a work of desolate, apocalyptic ambient sound design. Through improvisation and collage techniques, the duo creates abstract yet emotionally charged long-form electronic compositions. Centered on the theme of "disconnection," the album metaphorically explores breaking ties with relationships and escaping the chaos of urban life to embark on an intense journey of inner exploration.
