Mogwaa and Jesse You, DJs, producers, and co-founders of the Seoul-based label Walls And Pals, are not only longtime friends but also two of the most distinctive figures in the city's electronic music scene. Known for navigating styles like dub and electro, they embody the contemporary sound of Seoul’s underground. Their joint release, SPLIT001, marks the debut of Walls And Pals. Each artist contributes two tracks. Mogwaa leans into lo-fi dub textures, while Jesse You explores ’90s-inspired acid grooves with heavy-hitting rhythms.
