German Berlin-based DJ, producer, and founder of the record label Stólar, Philipp Priebe, has become one of our favorite sound artists in recent years with his dreamy and minimal Deep House style. Through his self-run label Stólar (which means "chairs" in Icelandic), he released his debut album "Movements In An Empty Department Store", a realization of his childhood dream. Inspired by the fantasy of "wandering freely through an empty department store for a night," he uses this imagined scenario as a means of artistic exploration and creation—embracing an uninhibited experience of sound and light without concern for consequences. The entire album unfolds with a cinematic, romantic sound palette, delivering delicate yet fluid elegant dance music.
