The Siberian duo Amkarahoi presents their debut album, Uncle Reed In The Purple Mine, blending 90s retro IDM, Dub, and Deep Ambient influences. Hailing from a remote region in Eastern Siberia, several of the tracks are named after local rivers. The album was born from an improvised performance in Saint Petersburg, later remixed and reworked in the studio.
