The independent underground label VDR from Paris, along with its founder Vincent Desmont, has been creating and releasing music through a fully independent self-managed model for years. Using his own name, Vincent Desmont, as well as multiple aliases like ASHPPE, THE CRUISER, and B+A+D, he has released several rare albums with unique sounds, blending Industrial Techno and Experimental Breaks. VDR Remixes is a remix series we particularly enjoy, where multiple producers freely select tracks from VDR's catalog and create entirely new versions. These remixes not only more accurately showcase VDR's signature rough, industrial sound design but also highlight experimental tones deeply rooted in the underground Parisian scene, reflecting the experimental and independent underground attitude.
